Join the Mobile Library in your neighborhood! La Porte County Public Library offers mobile library service that carries books, movies, and more to customers in our service area. 

At the bookmobile, you can:

  • Borrow popular books, DVDs, and more -- just like at the library!
  • Get a library card or update your account
  • Pick up holds and return items
  • Get answers to your questions or help finding community resources

Join the City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department and the LPCPL Mobile Library at Unity Park on first Tuesdays of each month this summer for a delicious and relaxing lunch break. Each Tuesday from the end of May through the end of August will feature one new food truck.
