Join the Mobile Library in your neighborhood! La Porte County Public Library offers mobile library service that carries books, movies, and more to customers in our service area. 

At the bookmobile, you can:

  • Borrow popular books, DVDs, and more -- just like at the library!
  • Get a library card or update your account
  • Pick up holds and return items
  • Get answers to your questions or help finding community resources

This stop is in partnership with the La Porte Park and Recreation Department offering a FREE drop-in program that will have a ton of fun activities for local children throughout summer break located in five neighborhood parks.

Play, Grow, Read! spaces engage young children and their caregivers in purposeful play. Each space includes books, games, and activities intended to help children ages 0-5 get ready to read.
