Crikey! Join the Caterpillar Hunter on another exciting adventure as he travels around the world to rescue a rare endangered parrot known as the Kakapo from New Zealand.
Find us at the La Porte County Fair all week long!
Start It! Equipment Training is intended for individuals who would like to begin using equipment at the Library's Makerspace. Complete the Makerspace Safety Training to learn more about safety and age requirements at the Exchange. All individuals should complete this tutorial before their first in-person training.
A different Equipment Training session is required for each piece of equipment. Choose one piece of equipment from list for your training.
To ensure that all customers are accommodated, we kindly ask that each customer limits their number of trainings to one per week.
Note: It is possible that training may take more than 1 hour.
For training on the Precision Mini Lathe, the Resin 3D Printer, or the Bandsaw, call or email the LPCPL Exchange.
When learning a new skill, it is best to build upon our knowledge step-by-step. To best support a strong foundation of knowledge on the Makerspace equipment, we require the following:
- General sewing machine training before Heavy Duty sewing machine
- Sindoh and/or UltiMaker 3D Printer training before Resin 3D Printer
- X-Carve CNC Machine training before Roland CNC Mill
- Wood lathe training before Precision Mini Lathe

Using the fresh herbs and veggies that we have grown here at the Kingsford Heights Branch, we will be making and then tasting our own homemade salsa! Feel free to bring your own salsa recipe to share with others.
Please join us for a lively discussion of this month's selection. Newcomers are always welcome!
Enjoy building your Pokémon knowledge, meeting other fans in your community, and focusing on fun. Come paint rocks to look like your favorite characters, hide them outside, and leave them for other fans to find!
