Join us at Luhr County Park for a morning hike and see the sunrise! We will have a telescope, stories, and a flashlight hike. Coffee will be available for those who need an extra boost in the morning!
Sing, move, dance, and rhyme with us during this interactive storytime!
Babies and their grown-up are encouraged to engage and participate in a storytime structured around the Every Child Ready to Read™ curriculum! Classes incorporate books, technology, movement, and hands-on practice to engage children and adults in a fun, friendly environment.
It's National Week of Making! Come see how the UltiMaker 3D printer works and get inspiration for projects. We'll have pre-printed "Summer Under the Stars" themed pieces for making jewelry that you can use why supplies last.

Equipment Training
Like what you see? Staff can help you! Contact the LPCPL Exchange by email or phone to set up your one-on-one training.
Start It! Equipment Training is intended for individuals who would like to begin using equipment at the Library's Makerspace. Complete the Makerspace Safety Training to learn more about safety and age requirements at the Exchange.
A different Equipment Training session is required for each piece of equipment. Choose one piece of equipment from list for your training.
To ensure that all customers are accommodated, we kindly ask that each customer limits their number of trainings to one per week.
Note: It is possible that training may take more than 1 hour.
For training on the Precision Mini Lathe, the Resin 3D Printer, or the Bandsaw, call or email the LPCPL Exchange.
When learning a new skill, it is best to build upon our knowledge step-by-step. To best support a strong foundation of knowledge on the Makerspace equipment, we require the following:
- General sewing machine training before Heavy Duty sewing machine
- Sindoh, UltiMaker, or Bambu 3D Printer training before Resin 3D Printer
- X-Carve CNC Machine training before Roland CNC Mill
- Wood lathe training before Precision Mini Lathe
If no Start It! times are available, please call the Exchange to set up a training.
