Event Details

Campers will learn about stop motion animation and have fun creating a short stop motion animation video of their own! 

Participants will learn about what stop motion animation is and how it’s used. They will make their own props and characters using Lego for their animation and bring the video to life using the Stop Motion app on a provided iPad. Campers will get to bring home a flash drive with the stop motion animations they made! 
 
Campers might incorporate the following Summer Reading Stories into their stop motion animation scene: 

• The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter  
  
• The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats   
  
• Where’s Spot? by Eric Hill 
 
A small snack will be provided during this camp.
