Nature Play Days: Leaf Prints

Play, explore, and learn in nature with our Nature Play Day series! This fall, visit all our branches for outdoor, nature-themed activities, crafts, and stories! This event is in conjunction with Indiana Children and Nature Network Play Days.   

There are several physical, emotional, and intellectual benefits of spending time outdoors. It is our goal to encourage children to build a lifelong connection with nature, provide opportunities to connect children and their families to the environment, and promote time outdoors through imaginative play.   

We appreciate nature in all its forms, so this event will take place outdoors rain or shine! Please dress accordingly for all weather conditions. 

Learn all about different leaves with a fun leaf print craft! Gather leaves of different shapes, colors, and textures, and then use stamp pads to preserve your leaves in a unique and artistic print to display at home!

We will also be reading Autumn Leaves by Ken Robbins.
