Nature Play Days: Leaf Crowns

Play, explore, and learn in nature with our Nature Play Day series! This fall, visit all our branches for outdoor, nature-themed activities, crafts, and stories! This event is in conjunction with Indiana Children and Nature Network Play Days.   

There are several physical, emotional, and intellectual benefits of spending time outdoors. It is our goal to encourage children to build a lifelong connection with nature, provide opportunities to connect children and their families to the environment, and promote time outdoors through imaginative play.   

We appreciate nature in all its forms, so this event will take place outdoors rain or shine! Please dress accordingly for all weather conditions. 

Gather leaves and twigs from outside of the Library and craft your very own leaf crown to wear and take home with you!  

We will also be reading A Very Big Fall by Emmy Kastner.
