Join us for an introduction to weaving and make a small woven yarn project. Learn about advanced techniques and ways to take up this traditional textile practice.
We will begin with instructions on how to make your own small woven yarn project and share resources and information for you to pursue your own creative weaving. Great for the beginner, or those looking to advance their skills.
After the demonstration, you can stay to work, or observe and interact with others in the class. Like what you see? Schedule a one-on-one session with Exchange staff to get your authorization to use the Dremel or Epilog Laser Cutters to make wooden looms.
If you have any questions, contact the LPCPL Exchange at 219-344-5895.
