Enjoy the Japanese art of Sashiko, or “little stabs” stitching!
In this class, you will learn the basics of Sashiko stitching. Sashiko means little stabs and is a type of traditional Japanese embroidery used for the decorative and functional reinforcement of cloth and clothing. While learning the basics, you will practice on a small sampler pattern that can be turned into a coaster, patch, pincushion, or other piece at a later date!
