Union Mills Branch History
The Union Mills Branch was originally founded in 1956 through the efforts of the Federated Women’s Club. It became a branch of the La Porte County Public Library in 1957. The original library was located near the Mill Pond and moved to the current location in 1989. It was renovated in 2016 as a part of a major renovation project. This location has a fruit tree orchard and a musical garden.
