Here’s what you need to know:

HOURS

We are excited to welcome you back! All locations will open as normally scheduled. Some branch schedules have changed to serve you better. Visit laportelibrary.org/about/locations for the most up-to-date hours.

RETURNING ITEMS

Please return your items in the book drops if you wish. All due dates were set to June 1 so will be due after that date. However, we understand that you may not be able to return your items yet so overdue fines will continue to be waived. We will let you know when this changes.  If there are issues with your account, we are happy to resolve them for you.

VISITING LPCPL LOCATIONS

Help us limit the number of customers in our buildings at one time. Select your books and movies quickly. Visits should be 30 minutes or less. Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to enter the building. Meeting rooms are not open at this time. Notary services will be available by appointment. Curbside delivery is available at the Main Library and Coolspring Branch locations.

LIMITED COMPUTER USE

Computers have been spaced 6 feet apart and will be sanitized between each use.  Sessions will be limited to 30 minutes. If you need more time to complete job applications, resumes, or file for government resources, please let a staff member know in advance. Printing, copying and faxing services will be offered. Library Wifi is available in our parking lots and outdoor areas.

CONTINUED VIRTUAL PROGRAMMING

All events and classes will continue online.  We are working on arranging some outdoor programs offsite and will be opening those for registration soon. Please stay tuned for updates and watch the online calendar of events for new events being added regularly.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to seeing you again!
