Walk With a Doc is doing another walking challenge and everyone is invited to join in! The challenge is to virtually trek the Grand Canyon from rim-to-rim during the two week period between February 13-26.
How much will you walk?
This challenge is a little different from previous Walk With a Doc events: teams will work together to walk the rim of the Grand Canyon–a whooping 70 miles! HOLY COW! But you don’t have to do all 70 yourself. If you did, you’d need to walk 5 miles every day for the challenge. That’s where the teams come into play. If you and your sweetheart form a team and do the challenge together, you just need to walk 2.5 miles each. If you have five people on your team, you each walk one mile a day! Teamwork makes the dream work, n’est pas?
How is this tracked?
What I love about the Walk With a Doc challenges is that they use the Racery software, which is awesome because they let you count any type of physical activity to your goal. That’s right: you can run the whole distance, you can walk it, you can do yoga or even count housework toward the walking goal.
How can you join?
