Join Professor Jenkins to do fun chemistry experiments and be inspired by a real scientist! You’ll do real experiments and learn more about Vitamin C.

Professor Sharron Jenkins is a chemistry professor who previously taught at Purdue Northwest’s Westville campus. She has been training young minds in the classroom and in the lab for over 25 years. She aims to inspire students because she believes kids can participate in real publishable research. Participants may use the experiment results to create a school science fair project.

Join us in celebrating National Chemistry Week! All participants will be entered into a drawing for a free copy of Professor Jenkins’s storybook: Zakiah and Professor Jenkins. Copies available for check out at a library location near you!
