29 Mar Spring into the IN State Parks!
Planning a staycation this spring break? Check-out our 2016 Indiana State Park Pass! As part of the 2016 Indiana Bicentennial Celebration, all public libraries in the state were given an Annual Entrance Permit to circulate within their communities. Each pass admits “the cardholder, in a single private, family-type, non-commercial vehicle or two motorcycles to all 32 state parks and also to Indiana’s state forest recreation areas where entrance fees are charged administered by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. It is not valid for entrance to the Indiana State Museum or State Historic Sites.” The pass can be borrowed with your library card for one week. There is a $1.00 per day fine if returned late.
While you’re exploring the parks, use one of our field guides to help you identify the natural world that surrounds you.
