14 Jun Snow White and… Sherman?
The Happy, Sleepy, Dopey, Doc, Sneezy, Grumpy, Bashful,… and Sherman? The La Porte County Public Library is honored to offer a unique theatrical event based on the beloved Disney tale Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. The Ballet Lady’s Snow White and Sherman provides a new twist on the story and introduces us to Sherman and Queen Queasy. The performance will be held on Saturday, June 23 at 2:00pm in Meeting Room B of the Main Library. This is a family-friendly event that people of all ages will enjoy! Snow White and Sherman is part of the Metamorphis Traveling Theater’s “The Ballet Lady presents” series which focuses on performing shows geared towards children and their families.
This show is also interactive! We are looking for 6 excited children, ages 6-8, and one lucky adult who knows how to do the Heimlich maneuver to become a part of the performance. The only requirements for these volunteer actors are that they wear jeans or shorts and a t-shirt and arrive at least 45 minutes before the show starts. There will also be opportunities for the cast to connect with the audience in other ways throughout the show.
If your child is interested in volunteering, contact the Library at 219-362-6156 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Don’t miss out on this wonderful theater opportunity! Snow White and Sherman is sure to be a hit!
