Read an eBook Day

15 Sep Read an eBook Day

If you’re an avid reader like me, chances are you read multiple titles simultaneously. Or, maybe you always have a book in your purse, briefcase, or car — just in case. Even though I love to carry a large purse, several years ago I transitioned from carrying physical books to eBooks and eAudiobooks instead. Now I can carry several digital titles with me on my iPhone. Or, download new titles on the go. No more gaps in reading material!

Never tried an eBook or eAudiobook? Give it a whirl on Friday, September 16 in celebration of Read an eBook Day! La Porte County Public Library’s OverDrive collection has a lot of great, free titles available to read on your computer, smartphone, tablet, or device. The OverDrive app can be downloaded, for free, from iTunes or Google Play. Library staff are more than happy to help troubleshoot if you run into problems along the way or need help finding a title. You can always give us a call, or stop in at any location, for technology assistance or instruction. Happy eReading!

What I’m currently listening to:
