It’s never been easier to explore your questions about authors, illustrators, and books! Add the new TeachingBooks Book Connections extension to your Chrome browser and instantly power up Google searches about anything, including children’s or young adult lit, to its rich and engaging digital content.

Here’s How it Works

Search for any topic, book title, series, author, or award. In the upper right corner of the search page find access to book and author resources, read-along audiobook performances, video book trailers and more.

In the example search for award-winning author Jacqueline Woodson, the widget features four titles with links to TeachingBooks resources. To see the links, click on “Learn more about these books” at the bottom of the widget.

TeachingBooks is Free

As a library card holder you already have access to TeachingBooks.net. This resource includes thousands of resources about fiction and nonfiction books for K–12 students, teachers, and caregivers, with every resource selected to encourage the integration of multimedia author and book materials into reading and library activities.

TeachingBooks offers more than 234,000 vetted digital resources that include:

  • Book and author resources
  • Read-along audiobooks performances
  • Discussion questions
  • Author interviews
  • Video book trailers

Both your regular library card and Libraries 360 card provide free access to TeachingBooks resources.
