With the upcoming presidential election this fall, Kanopy has assembled a toolkit to help educate and promote voting. The first part of this series focuses on Women’s Suffrage and the centennial of the 19th Amendment that guarantees and protects women’s constitutional right to vote. Other topics we’ll cover include:

Voting Oppression: Exposing the strategies used to discourage or prevent specific groups of people from voting

History of Voting: Understand what it took to get rights to vote from poll taxes, literacy tests, voting eligibility, and more.

Democracy and Voting Around the World: A look at different political landscapes and their influences on voting across the globe

Programming Guide

Kanopy is a streaming service for you to view movies and documentaries right to your own device, commercial-free, at any time. You can enjoy ten plays every month. Each play is available to you for four days.
