8/22 – MN – Maker Lab – Hands-on Cricut® Basics – 2:00pm- 4:00pm

Ready to get started with Cricut®? Learn how to operate the machine, use Design Space software, and change the blades and accessories to work with different materials in this hands-on class for Cricut® newbies. Register for 1 of the 2 identical sessions.

Participants may choose to use one of the library’s Cricuts® or bring their own Cricut® Maker, Cricut® Explore, Cricut® Explore Air, Cricut® Explore Air 2, or Cricut® Explore One. Registration is required for social distancing and supply purposes.

After you complete online safety training, you can become an official maker and reserve the Maker Lab to create on your own schedule! Learn more about the Maker Lab on the library’s website https://laportelibrary.org/initiatives/lpcpl-maker-lab/ or call (219) 362-6156.

Participants and instructors will follow CDC guidelines for social distancing. Face masks are required by state and local ordinance. Surfaces and equipment will be cleaned and disinfected between sessions.
