Get ready to explore earth and space with NASA’s Space Place where you’ll find loads of games, crafts, stories, and animations for kids K-6. Learn about space weather, solar flares, black holes, tsunamis, and more. Even I had fun imagining the moon’s phases using Oreos and creating a paper sun with shaving cream and food coloring.

Space Place is an award-winning educational website about space and earth science. It’s packed full of info on categories such as the Universe, Sun, Earth, Solar System, and Science and Tech. Activity articles are available in PDF format for parents and teachers under the Educators category. This is a great resource to support STEM learning as we practice social distancing.

The website can also be viewed in Spanish – just click “Vea en Español” in the upper right-hand corner.

Start a mission today! Where in the universe will you go?
