Mobile Library

The La Porte County Public Library offers mobile library service via a bookmobile that carries books, movies, music, and more to customers in our area. Bookmobiles carry a wide variety of materials for all ages with an emphasis on popular and current titles for youth and adults. There are over 15 community stops around the city and county, so there’s one close to you. At the bookmobile, you can:

• Check out audiobooks, books, CDs, DVDs, and magazines
• Get a library card
• Pick up holds and return items – just like at the library
• Staff can answer questions and help with a variety of needs
• Update your account – change your address, pay a fine, etc.
