14 Oct Book Bites Cookbook Club: Heart and Soul
I’m excited about this month’s Book Bites theme! Why? Because the Heart and Soul theme is going to mean different things to different people which should translate into an interesting variety of recipes chosen. We are meeting on Friday, October 20th at 11 am in Meeting Room B (instead of Spark Labs). I’m not telling what I’m making, but here are a few cookbooks I want to peruse for something tasty. All you need to know is that I’m a good cook. Let’s eat (and chat, of course)!! I hope you join me.
- The Complete Slow Cooker From Appetizers to Desserts (ebook and regular book) by America’s Test Kitchen
- Heart and Soul in the Kitchen by Jacques Pepin
- Farm Fixin’s: Food, Fare & Folklore From the Pioneer Village
- Southern Plate by Christy Jordan
For those who didn’t catch the first Book Bites meeting—you check out a cookbook from our collection, make a recipe that fits the monthly theme and bring it, along with a copy of the recipe, to share with the group.
