LPCPL Makerspaces

Maker Certifications

To use the Makerspace, you must first become an Official Maker. Then, you can become certified in other areas that require additional safety certification and learn more about available tools.

LPCPL Makerspaces give people of all ages the opportunity to get together and informally learn STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) related technologies through hands on experience.

For these opportunities, visit LPCPL Exchange or try a Maker Cart. Maker Carts are available at every library location. Some LPCPL Exchange equipment requires an additional safety certification. Equipment reservations for the Exchange can be made through Fabman. Meeting Rooms and Studios are also available to reserve.
