12 Feb Tax Season 2018
Tax season already?! The library can help you find the forms you need. Basic state forms are available at all locations. The federal instruction booklets and basic forms are not all in yet. We have received the 1040EZ forms, but the rest are coming. Staff can show you how to print tax forms or visit the Government Resources area of our website for links to state and federal resources.
Library staff aren’t certified tax professionals and cannot provide tax advice, but we can certainly assist you in gathering the tools you need to get your taxes done. You can start filing on January 29, 2018. The last day to file your taxes is Tuesday, April 17th. If you don’t follow us on social media, now is a great time to start! As we receive more forms or information on VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) programs in the area, we’ll share updates on the website and social media.
