Take the Summer Reading Challenge

09 May Take the Summer Reading Challenge

Challenge yourself to read over summer break by joining the summer reading program! Beginning May 1, students beginning Kindergarten through 12th grade, can set a reading goal to achieve this summer. Everyone who meets their reading goal is invited to attend the Summer Challenge Celebrations with their families in August!

To get started, click on the Reading Takes You Everywhere link on the Library’s homepage. Libraries 360 students, you have already been registered. Your Libraries 360 card number is your username and your student ID number is your password. The first time you log in, you will need to set your reading goal by going to My Account.

If you do not attend a Libraries 360 partner school, you will need to create an account. Students who do not want to participate online can track their reading using the gameboard included in the 2018 Summer Reading Program guide.

If you need help getting started, a summer reading tutorial is available in our academy. You can also contact any La Porte County Public Library location for assistance.

Where will reading take you this summer?
