Summer Reading Update

01 Jun Summer Reading Update

We are at the halfway point of our summer reading program and we have 655 students registered who have recorded a total of 68,038 minutes! That’s almost 1,134 hours of reading!

Below are the top 5 schools in registrations and minutes logged. If you haven’t registered or begun to record the minutes you’ve read, get started today! The summer reading program is open to students entering kindergarten through 8th grade. Students can record the minutes they read through Friday, June 30 to earn a prize t-shirt. T-shirts can be picked up at any La Porte County Public Library location by Friday, July 7.
