The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn is a classic children’s story about a baby raccoon, Chester, who is afraid to leave his mom and go to school. Chester’s mom shows him her special secret of the Kissing Hand which will help him remember her love for him during his time at school. This is a very sweet story that will be enjoyed by children of all ages!
Wherever You Are: my love will find you by Nancy Tillman is a sentimental story full of magical and gorgeous pictures. The illustrations really make this book. The story is told from the point of view of a parent describing how, no matter what, their love will always be with their child.
Hero Mom by Melinda Hardin is a very touching story about mothers who serve in the military. This book shows that these mothers are superheroes!
Do not forget Grandmas on Mother’s Day! How to Babysit a Grandma by Jean Reagan is an entertaining twist on spending the night at Grandma’s house. The little girl in the story thinks that she is the one doing the babysitting! This endearing tale celebrates the relationship between grandparent and grandchild.
